Erturk Varol was born in 1981 in Gaziantep. He received an associate's degree in Computer Programming from Gazi University and a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Anadolu University. He also got a master's degree in Engineering Management from Marmara University. He began his career at Defne Telecommunications as a Software Developer and took managerial roles in the Solution, Project, and Operations departments. He joined the Kron team in 2019 as a DevOps Manager and now serves as Operations & Delivery Director.
